Our Repair Guarantee
At Swift Appliance Repair, we offer a 6-month guarantee on parts we supply and fit, as well as a 3-month (90-day) guarantee on labour for all repairs completed directly by us. This ensures that any faulty parts or repairs weโve carried out will be fixed at no additional cost during the guarantee period. This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Please note, we cannot guarantee that new faults will not develop following our diagnosis and repair, as other unrelated issues may arise in the near future. In some cases, new faults may exhibit similar symptoms to those that were originally addressed.
Our guarantee applies specifically to the work we have completed. If you believe a repair wasnโt successful, and it relates to the work we performed during the initial visit, we will rectify the issue at no extra charge. However, if the fault is unrelated or a new issue has developed, a reduced call-out charge of ยฃ45 may be applicable. This fee also applies if the appliance is found to be working correctly upon inspection.
Excluded Repairs and Parts
Certain repairs are excluded from our guarantee. These include:
Blockage removals from the appliance or external pipework affecting drainage.
Refrigeration repairs involving re-gassing or compressor replacement.
Repairs using spare parts supplied by the customer.
The following parts are covered under a 3-month (90-day) Repair Guarantee:
Oven/Grill/Hob Elements.
The following parts are excluded from our Repair Guarantee:
Door components (handles, glass, and fixtures).
Door seals or any type of seal.
Drive belts and pulleys.
Cosmetic parts (knobs, fascias, trims, etc.).
Drum lifters/paddles.
Lamps, bulbs, and LEDs.
Internal shelving, door shelves, and baskets.
Motor brushes, armatures, and stators.
PCBs (Printed Circuit Boards) and electronic modules.
Refrigeration re-gassing
Our Repair Guarantee Does Not Apply If:
The issue results from fair wear and tear, improper use, neglect, accident, or failure to maintain the appliance.
Repairs or alterations were carried out by you or a third party.
The appliance was used in a way not outlined by the manufacturerโs instructions.
Fuses require replacement (except where damaged due to our negligence).
To claim under our Repair Guarantee, we must be given the opportunity to inspect and, if necessary, correct the issue. If another third party or independent engineer has intervened, we reserve the right to revoke the guarantee.
Swift Appliance Repair will not reimburse third-party fees or refund any prior repair costs unless we have had the chance to assess the appliance before third-party involvement.
